Analyze your data with Flowsery filters

Filters let you narrow your analytics data to focus on specific audience segments. This makes it simpler to spot patterns and identify visitors who are most likely to convert.

Adding filters

Hover over any data point in your dashboard to reveal the filter icon. Click it to apply a filter.

Flowsery Analytics will return only visitors matching the filter and display the revenue those visitors generated.

You can stack multiple filters on your dashboard to zero in on particular audiences, traffic sources, and user behaviors.

Real-time analytics filter

When viewing real-time analytics in Flowsery Analytics, you can filter data on the fly as well.

Simply click a country, referrer, or device in the control panel (top-left corner of the globe) to apply filters to the live data.

If you need to prevent certain data from being stored entirely, see this tutorial instead.

Filtering by custom goals

You can also filter your data by custom goals that visitors have completed, such as signup, checkout_initiated, newsletter_subscribe, and more.

This reveals which users are most likely to convert and which goals drive the best results.

Segments -- save filter combinations

If you frequently apply the same set of filters, save them as a segment to reapply everything with a single click.

Creating a segment

  1. Apply your desired filters (e.g., Goal is payment + Country is United States)
  2. Click Save as segment
  3. Give your segment a name (e.g., "Customers from USA")

Using a segment

Open the filter menu -- your saved segments appear at the top. Click one to instantly load all of its filters.

Segments are scoped to individual websites. Each website maintains its own set of saved segments.
