Track conversion funnels

Conversion funnels help you see where visitors stop progressing through a journey.

Flowsery funnel features

  • Step-by-step conversion counts
  • Drop-off visibility between steps
  • Source, country, and segment filtering
  • Custom goal and page-based steps

The current funnel UI does not expose per-step revenue, so this guide should not claim revenue breakdowns inside the funnel itself.

Example 1: Landing page engagement funnel

Track a landing page visit plus meaningful scroll and CTA goals.

  1. Track the page visit for your landing page.
  2. Add goal events such as scroll_to_features, scroll_to_pricing, scroll_to_cta, and cta_clicked.
  3. Build a funnel with those steps in order.

Example 2: SaaS onboarding funnel

A simple onboarding funnel might use:

  1. Landing page visit
  2. signup
  3. first_action
  4. free_trial
  5. payment

When sending custom goals from your backend, use the current API contract described in Create Goal.

Best practices

  • Start with a small number of steps.
  • Use stable goal names.
  • Keep page-step matching specific enough to avoid accidental substring matches.
  • Review your biggest drop-off first.
